Annie Sloan Chalk paint workshop with Rigby and Mac

I  love a bit of DIY… so when I found out I won Rigby and Mac‘s Facebook contest for a beginners class with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint I was over the moon!!We met a sunny saturday morning at the Volcano cafe in Dulwich ( which is really cool, loved the way it was decorated with coffee sacs! ) and learned how to age, crack, do colour wax and much more …  I love how you can use chalk paint in almost everything and you don’t have to prepare the material … you just need some chalk pain a brush and some wax ! How amazing is that!?!
It was such a relax and fun saturday morning , I totally recommend this to everyone who enjoys some up cycle and chalk paint!!  My favourite was gilding with gold, silver and bronze paper and ageing ( love the vintage look;))This week I finally got to do some chalk painting after moving flats ( Yeih! we are so happy in the new place! )  Here is my first project after the workshop.. The kitchen steps for the little one…is a very simple one but I love the colour combination and I’m sure she will too!
Can’t wait to do more projects!!I used Henrietta and Napoleonic Blue, you can find them and all the Annie Sloan collection in Rigby and Mac ( and much more fab stuff! seriously , that place has the cutest things ever!! )

Have a nice weekend
